I think it's very possible that people who have witnessed strange phenomena such as lights in the sky or zig zagging aircraft may have seen military technology that hasn't been disclosed and are convinced it's extraterrestrial. Also advances in AI will make it possible to stage alien close encounter and deceive even faithful Catholics. We have to be very vigilant.

Thank you for this excellent article and for your beautiful reflection on Jesus the Good shepherd who saves both obedient and wandering sheep. It gives me much to ponder, especially concerning God’s plan to become incarnate in Jesus Christ even before creation and the fall.

I would also like to recommend the book “The First and Last Deception” by Daniel O’Connor concerning the alien deception. I recently saw the film “Project Hail Mary” and I was troubled by the obvious agenda promoting evolution, abundance of alien life, etc. It seems to me that something is coming soon as the stage is being set for people to embrace “aliens”. (Another upcoming film is “Disclosure Day”—it almost seems too obvious, but I know many faithful Catholics who don’t see the con!)

Someone had made this comment long ago;

'IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD, YOU WILL BELIEVE IN ANYTHING...'

Great article: one theological objection: there are truths of faith you must hold even if it hasn't been defined de fide by the magisterium.

This is proven by the condemnation of Arius BEFORE Consubstantistion it was defined. Arius wasn't holding to an acceptable, but wrong position before it was defined. It was heresy. Same with nestorius.

I'm not claiming evolution is a belief that makes you a big H heretic right now (I'm not sure. It very well might be). But there are such truths of faith.

Catholics believe in transubstantiation. consubstantiation is a protestant version
